One of the benefits of a smaller than usual crowd, we were able to play a TRUST YOUR GUT round tonight! Ten questions, 10 seconds each, sheets up/pens down! We`ve been doing them elsewhere, but 30+ teams isn`t workable - but 14 sure was!! And no ties tonight! π

Due to a typo on the spreadsheet (the 24 on the scoresheet looked like a 21), Maine Cabin Masters was announced as our third place finisher, but they really finished on top. But that does nothing to diminish the accomplishments of Til Shrimp Do Us Part and Rugged and we celebrate them too!

So it seems a sudden heat wave was too much - the 30+ teams we had the last few weeks withered to 20 in the heat; but those 20 CAME TO PLAY. We had a blast thinking about Boston, Beans and what`s inside pencils. We had another tie - this time between 1/2 and AGAIN the winning team hit the tie breaker on the nose - the average price of all grades of gasoline in 1995 - $1.15 (the answer is $1.157) and the winners circle was made up this week of teams who have been there before, but not that recently.
