Pumpkin Ale is brewing, Halloween Game is coming on October 30... but FIRST, seventeen teams came together to answer questions and celebrate Danielle`s birthday -- and Danielle`s team won second place! But it was Pork Loins game from the jump, and they rode the wave to first place while Namaste or Should I Go rounded out the Top 3. Thanks to Jack for pinch hitting for Jeff who`s out making noise in the Catskills.

We returned to Vintage for our monthly residency to find Monday Night Football claimed some of the regular teams, but others were still there picking up the slack and filled the bar area. It was an all ages game, with Skibidi Slicers, anchored by a couple youngsters, winning the tie breaker to come in third. Perennial winners circle teams Second Shot and K-9 Club filled out the top 3.

Another fun night at the Glenbrook where we learned BMT has fans everywhere and Jeff is deaf! He was spotted at Sea! Hear! Now! by one of tonight`s players who screamed "BEST MEN TRIVIA!" at him, but he was lost in a haze of excitement to see Kool & The Gang and the other bands on the bill. (I`m truly flattered and sad I didn`t hear you yelling!)

Tonight was very superstitious - the writing was on the wall - it is Friday the 13th! So we had a whole round of theatrical superstitions, a round of "Jersey Boys" (opens October 2nd!), and then a bunch of general trivia to fill out the evening.
We had a between round discussion: "Give us three theatrical shows you think everyone should see." and I noted some of the answers on the table liner and you can see it as Slide 5 (assuming you can read my writing) - my suggestion was "In and Of Itself" - possibly the most jawdropping ending to a show as I`ve ever seen. The Hulu video of it does not quite do it justice (tho it is wonderfully captured otherwise).
